Educational Philosophy
The educational philosophy of Graduate Program in Medical Physiology focuses on student-centered teaching and learning approaches to promote life-long learning, experiential learning and continuous development with students’ experience (constructivism) of medical physiology knowledge and research which can be applied for innovation in an attempt to improve and promote academic excellence, research excellence, health-related service for thai and international population with moral, integrity, ethical and professional manner.
Job option after graduation
- Expert, specialist, knowledge transfer specialist, research coordinator, research project analyst and product specialist in medical physiology and biomedicine at level of higher education
- Scientist, research assistant, laboratory personnel in medical physiology or biomedicine
Desired learning outcomes
By the end of the study, master graduates are able to
1. Demonstrate ethical manner and responsibility in academic and professional Performance.
2. Demonstrate breadth, depth and foundation of physiological knowledge for common clinical application.
3. Appraise the scientific knowledge in medical physiology through reading, discussion and writing.
4. Acquire knowledge of medical physiology by utilizing information technological, mathematical and scientific thinking skills (21st century skills) for continuous learning.
5. Transmit knowledge and idea of medical physiological research to peers and the scientific community at national or international level.
6. Demonstrate research technical skills in selected field/topic to solve research problems and extend current knowledge of medical physiology

- Pass the requirement according to the study plan.
- Complete the courses according to the curriculum structure, course work at least 24 credits and thesis 12 credits, for a total of at least 36 credits with grade point average of at least 3.0.

- Submit thesis and pass thesis examination following the regulations of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.
- Thesis or parts of thesis has been published or accepted for publication in a peer-reviewed academic journal by at least one manuscript; or accepted for presentation in an academic conference with proceedings of the conference by at least one manuscript following the regulations of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Mahidol University.

Admission Requirements
Plan A, A2 applicants must:
- Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences (all major), Dental surgery, Medical, Pharmacy, Nursing science, Physical therapy, Veterinary medicine or related fields, etc. which are accredited by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
- Having cumulative GPA not less than 2.50 or equivalent.

- Qualifications different from 2. – 3. may be considered by the Program Administrative Committee and the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies.
Plan B applicants must:
